Research Topic

Homeless individuals with severe mental illness (HMI) constitute one of the worst affected sections by the vicious cycle of poverty and mental health problems all over the world. Involuntarily expelled from the society, homeless people are the most vulnerable to enter the vicious cycle of mental illness and never exit because of the lack of resources.The present study aims to understand the experience of downward mobilization and social suffering among the HMI population and also to understand recovery and empowerment amidst the Challenges of potential social suffering.
