रोग पहले सूक्ष्म रूप में होता है, परन्तु बाद में बढ़ने लगता है। बढ़ता हुआ रोग जड़ पकड़ लेता है और उस लापरवाह व्यक्ति के बल और आयु दोनो का हरण कर लेता है। इसलिए रोग की अनदेखी न कर शीघ्रातिशीघ्र योग्य चिकित्सक के पास जाना चाहिए।
