Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre was founded in 1982 to perpetuate the memory of Sir Padampat Singhania, an industrialist, entrepreneur, a great philanthropist, and a nationalist. Sir Padampat Singhania’s patrimony was carried forward by his son, Shri Govind Hari Singhania, who had the privilege of becoming the Chairman of IIT-Kanpur for two consecutive terms. Now, his son, Mr Abhishek Singhania has been continuing with the school and its legacy.
