Kanpur, 17th March 2024: Techkriti '24, IIT Kanpur's flagship technical and entrepreneurial festival, continued to enthral attendees with an array of thought-provoking sessions, adrenaline-fueled experiences, and captivating performances on its third and fourth days.


The third day commenced with a riveting tech talk by Mr. G. Satheesh Reddy, President of the Aeronautical Society of India and former Chairman of DRDO. He shared insights into India's leading-edge defence technologies, showcasing the nation's prowess as a frontrunner in the sector.


A highlight of this edition was the unique "Shark Tank"-style competition, where entrepreneurs pitched their ideas to an esteemed panel of investors, including ACM RKS Bhadauria, Dr. Ajay Kumar, and Prof. Abhishek, with a staggering 20 crores at stake.


The Auto Expo, where around 30 stunning supercars, vintage cars, and superbikes showcased their capabilities with jaw-dropping stunts, creating an ultimate fusion of speed, style, and adrenaline.


Throughout the day, numerous competitions, workshops, networking lunches, and gala dinners provided attendees with opportunities to upgrade their skills and gain invaluable knowledge.


The high-energy EDM night with Ravator electrified the crowd, compelling everyone to dance their hearts to the energetic beats. Kunal Grover's mesmerizing beatboxing and Jatin Sangri's melodious performances added a musical touch, leaving the audience spellbound.


As Techkriti '24 entered its final day on March 17th, the excitement reached new heights. Gaurav Juyal, the host of the popular show "Art Attack," inspired attendees to explore their passions and pursue them relentlessly.


The drift show once again stole the spotlight, with renowned and beautifully engineered cars curating a magical experience on the IIT Kanpur roads.

Renowned film writer Yahya Bootwala delved into the intricacies of storytelling, captivating the audience with his performance. Workshops in emerging fields like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science provided students with a deeper understanding of these essential concepts.


The excitement peaked as Farhan Akhtar took the stage, performing his top-rated songs to a massive crowd at the Pronite ground. The final Pronite was a spectacle to behold, with attendees singing and dancing their hearts out to a fantastic blend of music.


KY Collective’s soulful performances at the events ground brought a fitting closure to the final day, engulfing the audience in their melodies.


As Techkriti '24 came to an end, it left a lasting impact on attendees with a promise to return bigger and better in the coming years, continuing its legacy as Asia's largest annual technical and entrepreneurial festival.

Kanpur, 15 March, 2024: IIT Kanpur’s Techkriti '24, Asia's one of the largest annual technical and entrepreneurial festival, started with its 30th edition on March 14, 2024. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. S. Ganesh, Director IIT Kanpur; Prof. Manindra Agrawal, CSE Department of IITK; Prof. Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, BSBE Department of IITK; and Air Chief Marshal, Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria (Rtd).


The first day of Techkriti ’24, themed 'The Cosmic Nexus,' marked the pearl anniversary celebration with a captivating fusion of innovation and artistry. The Ragas' mesmerizing classical melodies kicked off this stellar 30th edition, showcasing an enchanting blend of cutting-edge technology and captivating performances that left everyone spellbound.


Following this, a comedy night featuring the talented Samay Raina was organized, bringing laughter and joy to the audience. After the comedy night, the audience was treated to a visually stunning LED show, showcasing a blend of vibrant colors and dynamic patterns. This spectacle added an element of visual excitement to the evening, further enhancing the overall experience for everyone present. To end the day on a high note, a Hip-Hop House Party was arranged, featuring energetic music and lively dance performances. The talented artists Yungsta, Ab 17 and YKSDOG, who delivered electrifying performances that had the crowd pumped up and dancing. The combination of comedy, visual delights, and high-energy music and dance performances made the first day of the festival a memorable and engaging experience for all attendees.


The second day of the festival commenced with a thought-provoking panel discussion on the topic of "Renewable Energy and Forest Conservation for a Green Economy." Esteemed speakers such as Mr. Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, and Prof. Mousami Prasad shared valuable insights during the session. They emphasized the crucial link between innovation and sustainability, shedding light on the path towards more eco-conscious economies.


The day's events also included an interactive session with Gaurav Thakur, a beloved YouTuber, which served as a delightful conclusion to the day's talks. The exhibitions at Tech Planet showcased the latest technological advancements, while the Megaworld experiences offered an adrenaline rush with activities like Laser Tag with Gel Blaster, PS5 Car Consoles, VR Gaming, Target Shooting, Body Zorbing, and a fascinating Boiler Room exhibit.


One of the standout highlights was the soulful concert by Ankit Tiwari, a renowned singer and musician. The pronite ground, where the concert took place, became vibrant and lively as Ankit Tiwari performed his top-rated songs "Teri Galiyan" and "Sunn Raha Hai." Ankit Tiwari's performance created an electrifying atmosphere, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.


To conclude the day's activities on a memorable note, Befikra Tejas took the stage and held everyone captive with his mesmerizing musical performance. His talent and stage presence were evident as he delivered a captivating show, further enhancing the overall experience of the event. Befikra Tejas's performance added a perfect ending to the day, leaving the attendees with unforgettable memories of a day filled with soulful music and captivating performances. The four-day fiesta will continue till March 17, 2024.

Kanpur, March 4, 2024: Techkriti, the esteemed flagship event of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), is all set to host its highly anticipated 30th edition from 14th March to 17th March, 2024. This momentous celebration of the 30th year would offer four days of extravaganza filled with innovation, technology, and entrepreneurial spirit. As Asia's largest technical and entrepreneurial festival, Techkriti garners attention from both national and international spheres and attracts a footfall of over 60,000 from around 1500 prestigious colleges worldwide.
