Kanpur, 16 March, 2024: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) hosted an evening dedicated to the introduction of the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology, and the Yadupati Singhania Super Specialty Hospital to industry leaders and dignitaries from the state of Uttar Pradesh. Hosted at the Landmark Hotel in Kanpur on March 15, 2024, this event aimed at presenting the futuristic initiatives of the School and highlighted IIT Kanpur's ambitious initiatives to redefine healthcare and MedTech innovation in India.


Esteemed dignitaries, industrialists, and medical luminaries from across the state graced the occasion, seizing the opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare through this collaboration. The synergy between industry and academia promises to integrate technology and innovation with medical sciences, propelling IIT Kanpur into the global arena of excellence. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Atul Kapoor, MD, Regency Hospital; Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Joint MD, MKU Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Raj Kumar Lohia, Chairman, Lohia Group; Mr. Deepak Kothari, Chairman & MD, Kothari Products, and our esteemed alumnus Mr. Gopal Sutwala, among others.


Stressing on the importance of this event, Prof. S. Ganesh, Director of IIT Kanpur, said, "The establishment of the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology, and the Yadupati Singhania Super Specialty Hospital is a crucial milestone in our journey towards excellence in healthcare and medical innovation.
