SEE Material Characterization Facility - Guidelines for External Users

Booking Procedure

  1. Download and completely fill the External Booking Form for the desired equipment.
  2. Calculate the charges as per the instrument (refer to External User Charges) and the number of samples.
  3. Payment can be made as follows:
  • Demand Draft (DD): Make a DD from any nationalized bank of the same value as calculated charges, in favour of 'The Registrar, IIT Kanpur', payable at Kanpur.
  • Online Payment: Use the following bank details to transfer the amount:
  • - Name of Account Holder: Registrar, IIT Kanpur

    ***Note: All payments must include 18% GST.

Submission Process

Submit the completed form along with the required DD or the online payment receipt to:

Confirmation

On receipt of the completed form and the payment proof, the slot date/sample submission date will be communicated to the user.
