Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, IIT Kanpur, visited Texas A&M University (TAMU) to explore areas of common academic interest and opportunities for future collaboration. The visit centered on fostering synergies in emerging research areas and strengthening partnerships between the two institutions.

During her visit, Prof. Ateeq held discussions with key representatives from the Halliburton Engineering Global Programs, including Dr. Leslie Donaway, Associate Director, and Dr. Maria Claudia B. Alves, Senior Director. She also met Prof. Harry Hogan, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Fred Pifano, Visiting Professor with the Meloy Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program. These interactions provided valuable insights on TAMU’s academic initiatives and global engagement strategies.

Prof. Ateeq also toured key laboratories to gain insights into ongoing research activities aligned with IIT Kanpur’s areas of focus. In addition, she met Mr. Chris Westfall, Pitch Coach and Business Coach at TAMU, to discuss potential avenues for collaboration in entrepreneurship and innovation.
