Dr. Sourav Ray, Director, Marketing Analytics Centre, Lang Chair in Marketing, and Professor at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, visited on 9th April 2026 to strengthen #academic ties and explore opportunities for #collaboration. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, IIT Kanpur. During the visit, Dr. Ray was #accompanied by Prof. Devlina Chatterjee from the Department of Management Sciences. Discussions were held on the #exchange of scholarly experience and expertise, as well as on developing mutual linkages through the exchange of faculty, staff, and students. The #interaction also focused on organizing seminars, academic activities, and joint outreach programmes for industry and community #engagement.

An MoU was signed by Dr. Sourav Ray and Prof. Bushra Ateeq, formalizing the collaboration between IIT Kanpur and the University of Guelph. This MoU is designed to foster joint research projects, publications, and academic programmes, while strengthening academic cooperation through faculty and student engagement. It marks a significant step towards building a robust and long-term academic partnership between the two institutions.
