Ahead of the Bharat Innovates event, a delegation representing all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) visited CentraleSupélec, France, on 8–9 June 2026 to further strengthen academic and research collaboration between India and France.
Representing Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Prof. Raja Angamuthu, Professor, Department of Chemistry and Associate Dean of Research & Development (ADR&D), visited CentraleSupélec and, on 9 June 2026, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a Student Exchange Partnership on behalf of IIT Kanpur.
IIT Kanpur and CentraleSupélec signed a general agreement in April 2026, which sets out a pathway for faculty exchange, development of innovative academic projects, research collabrations, joint symposiums and more. The newly signed Student Exchange Partnership builds on this collaboration by creating opportunities for student mobility, joint learning experiences, cross-cultural engagement, and collaborative research. The partnership is expected to enrich the academic experience of students at both institutions while fostering innovation and strengthening global institutional ties.
This partnership reflects IIT Kanpur's continued commitment to fostering global excellence in education, research, and innovation.
