On 13 March 2026, a delegation from KOBE University visited IIT Kanpur to further strengthen the existing #collaboration between the two institutions. Both universities already share a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on academic cooperation, joint research, and student exchange #programs. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss new possibilities for #expanding collaboration in research and academic activities.

The KOBE University delegation included Prof. Eri Chatani, Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science; Prof. Tetsunari Kimura, Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science; and Prof. Tominaga Keisuke, Molecular Photoscience Research Center. The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations at IIT Kanpur. During their visit, they were accompanied by Prof. Amalendu Chandra, Department of Chemistry, and Prof. Pratik Sen, Department of Chemistry and Photonics Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur. The delegation also #explored research laboratories at IIT Kanpur and interacted with faculty members to learn more about ongoing #research and potential future collaboration.
