The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was delighted to welcome Prof. Nick Bisley, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), La Trobe University, and Dr. Cerasela Tanasescu, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, La Trobe University, Australia, as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions through the IITK–La Trobe Research Academy.

They met with Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, and Prof. Raju Kumar Gupta, Department of Chemical Engineering and Academic Programme Director of the IIT Kanpur–La Trobe University Research Academy. The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between IIT Kanpur and La Trobe University through the IITK–La Trobe Research Academy, with particular emphasis on advancing the Joint Degree Programme, expanding student exchange opportunities, and exploring new avenues for industry-academic collaboration from both sides.

The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration in innovation, entrepreneurship, startup incubation, and knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
