The Office of International Relations at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur hosted a warm post–Eid ul-Fitr celebration on campus. The event brought together international students, staff and guests to share the joy of the festival.

Eid ul-Fitr marks the joyous ending of a month fasting during Ramadan and served as a wonderful occasion to reflect on the spirit of Eid and cross-cultural connections within the campus community. UG students from Newcastle University, who are visiting for short academic projects, also joined the event along with Prof. Dootika Vats.

Students from different countries and cultures enjoyed traditional food, shared their experiences, and greeted each other with “Eid Mubarak.” The event showed the institute’s strong commitment to inclusivity and global friendship.
