Spot admissions in the PhD programme 2026-27
The department of Civil Engineering is conducting spot admission to its PhD programme exclusively for final year BTech students studying in Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). The details for the spot admission are given below.

Eligibility
- Must be studying final year (7th or 8th semester) BTech in a Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI)
- Minimum CPI >= 7.5
Those who have completed their BTech program are not eligible for the program. The specific BTech branches sought for each research specialization is given in the table below.
