Texas A&M University

  • Leading 5 projects related to work zone safety with collaboration with Federal Highway, National Academy of Science, and OSHA, namely: a) Decision Support Toolkit to prevent Intrusion; b) Reducing Adverse Driving Behaviors; c) Intrusion Prediction Modeling; d) Temporary Traffic Control Device Management; and e) Training on Overexertion and Intrusion.
  • Designing between-group and within-group experimental designs for a driving simulator study, focusing on modeling more naturalistic driving and behavior.

Texas A&M University

  • Conducting graduate classes on construction safety (COSC 689: Advanced Constr. Safety and Health Mgmt.) and providing OSHA 10 Cards for the students as an OSHA Authorized Trainer.

Research Assistant (Sep 2020 – Dec 2024)

Indian Institute of Technology Madras

  • Part of a research team identifying the demolition process of a G+1 building inside the university campus. Prepared Method statement and contractual clauses for the demolition process.
  • Analyzed the existing Demolition of Buildings Code of Safety (IS 4130: 1991) and gave critical inputs for its revision to guide practitioners and stakeholders in safe demolition practices in the country.
