IIT Kanpur’s C3iHub to Showcase India’s Cybersecurity Startups at Demo Day 2025

C3iHub, the Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur, is hosting the Startup Demo Day 2025 on 21st–22nd August at The Grand, New Delhi. The two-day event will bring together India’s emerging cybersecurity startups, government leaders, investors, academia, and global technology firms, and a special focus on the launch of new products developed by C3iHub-incubated startups.

The Demo Day will serve as a strategic platform to nurture innovation and showcase solutions developed by C3iHub-incubated startups. It will act as a bridge between entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders, fostering collaboration to strengthen India’s cyber infrastructure and security frameworks.

The program will include panel discussion sessions such as Mission Rakshak: Cybersecurity Startups for Bharat Defence, Unlocking Synergies for Greater Impact, From Roadblocks to Runways: Navigating Challenges and Opportunities, and a Roundtable on the evolving startup ecosystem. Alongside these discussions, the event will feature startup pitches, product launches, live demos, and an exhibition showcasing frontier innovations.

C3iHub-incubated startups will launch their products at the event, beginning with Aerosys Aviation India’s Eliminator Kamikaze Drone, a precision strike system designed to operate in GPS-denied environments using advanced autonomous navigation. Maraal Aerospace will introduce TEJASVAAN, a high-altitude, solar-powered unmanned aircraft with 12-hour endurance for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. SecureDApp will present SecureTrace, a blockchain forensic platform for real-time tracking and investigation of illicit transactions. xIoTz will roll out its Regulatory Compliance and Standards (RCS) platform, which streamlines compliance across global, regional, and industry mandates. Saptang Labs will debut BlackFence, a proprietary cyber-threat intelligence platform designed to protect against fraud, phishing, impersonation, and brand abuse at scale.

Led by Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur, the event will host a distinguished guest list from government, academia, industry, and the investment community. Notable participants include Shri Amit A. Shukla (Joint Secretary, MEA); Dr. Gaurav Gupta (Director- Cybersecurity division, MeitY); Dr. Gulshan Rai (former NCSC and DG, CERT-In); Maj. Sadhna Singh (Consultant, NITI Aayog); Lekshmi Nair (Global Capability Head, NTT DATA); Vijayant Gaur (Director General, Cyber Security Association of India); Venkatasubramanian Ramakrishnan (Head, Global Cyber Security Consulting, L&T Technology Services); Amitava Mukherjee (Director, Cyber Security, Siemens); Abhishek Kakkar (Vice President, India Angel Network); Vibhore Sharma (Partner, Capital 2B); Mr Ajay Modi (Director, Piper Serica)and Dr. Bharat Panchal, Bima Sugam India Federation , Prof. Somitra Sanadhya, Program Director, C3iHub, IIT Kanpur & Dr. Tanima Hajra, CEO, C3iHub among others.

The C3iHub’s Startup Demo Day is an effort to bring all key stakeholders together and give a platform to young companies working on critical areas of cybersecurity. It reflects IIT Kanpur’s continuing focus on supporting innovation, building strong industry and government linkages, and encouraging entrepreneurs to develop solutions that strengthen India’s digital security.

C3iHub is a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) established at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems. C3iHub addresses the cybersecurity of cyber-physical systems in its entirety. C3iHub detects security vulnerabilities in critical cyber-physical systems, develops security tools to address the vulnerabilities, nucleates start-ups and partners with industries to commercialize the security tools, and provides training to the next generation of cybersecurity researchers.
