My research is focused on quantitative understanding of various geological processes in the Quaternary period, using different experimental techniques, mainly luminescence, and numerical (inverse) modeling. Presently, I am interested in low temperature thermochronology to understand the exhumation/erosion of rock in orogenic belt, rock surface exposure and erosion to understand glacier dynamics and climatic implication, surface palaeothermometry to understand past climate, dating of sediments to understand the dates and rates of palaeoflood deposits, tectonically developed river terraces, and evolution of paleochannels.
