The Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur invites applications from Indian nationals for faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in Environmental Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, and Transportation Engineering.
Requirements:
PhD in Civil Engineering or a closely related field with excellent academic record, proven research potential and strong commitment to teaching and research.
Responsibilities:
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising graduate theses, and other related duties. The average teaching load for a faculty member is 4-5 contact hours per week.
