Job Description:

• Looking for project staff who can work on basic electronic projects, build and repair PCs and manage inventory of the equipments in the lab.
• This is a requirement for at Department of Design, IIT Kanpur

Essentials

• Good communication skills in English
• Build and assemble PC
• Service and maintenance of desktop PC (Hardware and software)
• Service and maintenance of Mac (Software)
• Basic electronics
• Build circuits in breadboard with discrete and integrated circuit components
• Basic knowledge of sensor modules, arduino and motors
• Maintain inventory and manage usage of different equipments and electronic components in department
• Practice 3D printing and manage given print jobs
• Basic knowledge in MS Office tools like word, PowerPoint and excel
• Basic knowledge in soldering
• Skills in basic carpentry, welding, plumbing, lathe, milling and operating CNC will be added advantage but not necessary
