5. The award will be given on the recommendation of the Head of the Department.
6. Final selection will be made by SSPC based on recommendation.

1. The applicant must be a Ph.D. student conducting Fundamental Research in Energy Sciences.
2. Applicants must submit a recommendation letter from their thesis supervisor.
3. Each department may recommend up to 2 applicants for this award.
4. Applicant’s publications, conference presentations, and talks delivered at various forums will be considered.
5. Higher weightage is given to applicants holding patents with commercial potential.
6. A selection committee, appointed by the SSPC Chairperson, will make the final decision.
