Mr. Vikas Vaibhav

Mr. Vaibhav is a Deputy Inspector General of Police, ATS, Bihar at Indian Police Service. After completing his formal education from IIT Kanpur and finding himself deeply interested in the History and Future of India, he joined the Indian Police Service in 2003 with a mission of contributing towards Positive Change.

Profile

Mr. Vaibhav did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 from IIT Kanpur. He started his career as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationer), SVPNPA in Hyderabad in December 2003. He later worked as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationer), Bhagalpur in January 2005. He was also an Assistant Superintendent of Police in Aurangabad, Danapur, Patna, Bagaha, Rohtas, Darbhanga, Purnea. He was later the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eastern Range, Bhagalpur, Bihar in May 2017. He has been Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anti Terrorist Squad, Bihar since January, 2020.
