Faculty Connect - Sep. 2026
On Teachers' Day, DoRA Office hosted a special edition of Faculty Connect on 5 September 2026, bringing together alumni who have returned to their alma mater as faculty members. The session celebrated their unique journey from being students at IIT Kanpur to now teaching, mentoring, and shaping the next generation. It was also an opportunity to recognise their continued contribution to the Institute and the responsibility that comes with giving back to the institution that shaped their journey.
The interaction highlighted the valuable role of alumni faculty in strengthening IIT Kanpur's connect with its alumni community. With their academic expertise, professional experience, and industry networks, these faculty members serve as a vital bridge helping the Institute stay closely engaged with its alumni while also identifying meaningful opportunities for research collaboration, partnerships, and knowledge exchange.
