Faculty Connect - Aug. 2026
The August 2026 edition of Faculty Connect brought together faculty members for an engaging session focused on reflecting on the Institute’s achievements during the financial year 2025–26 and preparing for the opportunities and priorities ahead. The session provided a glimpse into the key milestones and outcomes achieved during the year, highlighting the collective efforts that contributed to strengthening IIT Kanpur’s engagement with industry, alumni, and external partners.
The session also focused on enabling faculty members to better understand and navigate industry engagement, with discussions around how faculty can build stronger industry-ready research propositions, identify relevant opportunities, and effectively translate their research strengths into meaningful collaborations. The importance of presenting research and institutional capabilities in a manner aligned with industry needs was also highlighted.
Looking ahead, the session encouraged faculty members to proactively prepare for the upcoming financial year by identifying potential collaboration opportunities, strengthening proposals, and building sustained engagement with industry and other external stakeholders. The interactive discussions provided a platform for faculty members to share perspectives, seek guidance, and explore avenues for greater collaboration and institutional impact.
