It was a fun and joy ­fun-filled experience. For the ­ first time we MBA 1st years were playing a badminton tournament. The style of conducting the tournament was similar to IPL. There were managers who bid for players. Also, there were special rules in the format of teams which included 1 single player, 1 doubles team and 1 mixed doubles, per each team. It was interesting how different teams employed di‑ erent strategies to form their best thought team. When it came to the day of playing, the matches were quite thrilling with some matches going down to tie-breaks. Ultimately one team had to win, but it was a great sporting experience for all the players who participated.
