The Women’s Association of IIT Kanpur successfully hosted an energetic three-day badminton tournament from November 21–23, 2025, bringing together enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and their spouses. The event was inaugurated with an opening shot by Prof. Rahul Mangal, SPEC Chairman, alongside BWF umpire Mr. Ravi Dixit.

Highlights:

Women’s Singles:  Champion: Arti, Runner-up: Kirti; 3rd position: Nikita
Women’s Doubles: Winners Arti and Kirti; Runners-up Pooja Gopakumar and Chandana; 3rd position: Anjali and Nikita.
Mixed Doubles: Winners : Kirti and Nagesh ; Runners-up: Arti and Naveen, 3rd position: Pallavi Agarwal and Mayur Awasthi

As per tradition, the winners sponsored a celebratory cake-cutting, bringing the tournament to a warm close marked by cheerfulness, togetherness, and a shared sense of enthusiasm.
