To initiate the young minds on campus into the joys of reading, the Women's Association of IIT Kanpur had launched Children's Book Club ( CBC) in April 2017.

The library is currently housed in 103 Yoga building, type 2 community centre. The library is operational every Sunday.

CBC is run by volunteers. Anyone willing to lend a hand, and / or organize monthly activities may contact the Book Club. A wide range of activities related to reading, writing, craft, performing arts and more are organised. All campus children are welcome to join.

Anyone can become a member irrespective of age subject to the condition that themselves or their guardian is connected to IITK. The annual subscription is ₹300/-.
