The Women’s Association, IIT Kanpur (team of 2024–25), held its General Body Meeting on May 7, marking the conclusion of a vibrant and impactful term for the 2024–25 team. During the meeting, Mrs. Geeta Sharma (secretary 2024-25) officially handed over responsibilities of WA to the newly appointed team led by Mrs. Chandana Dutta, who assumed the role of secretary, WA.

The outgoing team presented a summary of the year's key activities, new initiatives, and financial highlights, reflecting a year of meaningful engagement and growth. Following the handover, an informative session on waste segregation and management was conducted by an institute team led by Dr. Rajeev Jindal, Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering. The session emphasized practical steps toward a cleaner, more sustainable campus.

The 2024–25 WA team extends its warmest wishes to the new team and looks forward to seeing them lead with enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment.
