Pine Configuration

The procedure below explains how to configure Pine.

1. Log on to the server (apah or agni).
2. Type pine.
3. Go to <Folder List> .
4. Then move in the following manner: Tools >> Account Settings >> Add Account
5. Select << E-mail Account >>.
6. Enter the name of servers as:
   incoming server name = newmailhost.cc.iitk.ac.in
   and
   Outgoing server name = smtp.cc.iitk.ac.in

7. News Server Installation:

   Give News Group Server: narad.cc.iitk.ac.in.
