Information for Guardians

  1. Snehan timings are 9 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM. It is best if children reach the Centre at latest by 9.45 AM in the morning and 3 PM in the afternoon. Please pick up your child on time at 1 PM and 6 PM. If the child is to be picked up by any person other than the parents or the known babysitter, please inform the Coordinator in advance. We do not send the children with any unknown persons.

  2. Every child must carry:
    Water bottle
    Tiffin box with a snack
    Handkerchief/Napkin
Some drink other than water: juice, milk, Horlicks, etc.

Please put a name tag with section (Creche/Play Group/Activity Group) on water bottle, juice bottle and bag.

  3. All the Creche and Play Group children (who are coming in the afternoon shift also) must keep their bed role with the name tag in the Centre. Every alternate week, bed roles are returned for washing.

  4. All children must bring a change of clothes with them. If the child is in diapers, two spare diapers and a towel should also be sent. If the child is toilet-trained and accustomed to being washed after every visit to the toilet, a towel must be sent with her/him. A box of wet tissue in the school bag will be highly appreciated.

  5. We shall be trying to have the children eat independently (except Creche children) under supervision so please ensure that the child is able to eat the food you send by herself/himself. Snack time is 10.30 to 11 AM; Juice time is at 11.45 AM. In the afternoon, milk time is at 4:30 PM.

  6. Please do not send your child if she/he is ill.

  7. Children should come in clothes and shoes appropriate for running and playing. Do not send any chocolate, toffees, chewing gum, etc. Also, children should not bring personal toys or books with them. Exception with respect to books can be made only for children of the Activity Group.

  8. If your child’s birthday falls on a school day and you would like to send a treat for her/his school-mates, please discuss your plans with the teacher beforehand.

  9. Parents must personally meet the Coordinator/teacher(s) at least once a week to learn about their child’s progress. This meeting can take place while picking up the child from the Centre.

  10. Please feel free to talk if you face any problems with the Centre or if you would like to make suggestions anytime.
