1. Who is eligible for MEC refund? Answer: Students are eligible for MEC refund for Summer, Odd and Even Semester as per following cases:
2. Required document for claiming the MEC? Answer: Duly Signed copy of No Dues form and Mess rebate document issued from Hall Office. Clearly mentioned the stay period in Hall with the date of vacating the hall. Also update the correct account number and IFSC code at Pingala portal.
3. Procedure for MEC refund? Answer: Apply at Pingala under the menu of Excess Fee Management and upload the No Dues form and other supporting documents which clearly indicates that you were not availing the hall accommodation during course/semester period.
4. If students’ Pingala account is deactivated than how to apply? Answer: Send a mail to MEC at mail id This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and elaborate the details of semester, academic year reason for vacating the hall and also attached all the required documents.
5. How the MEC refund is calculated? Answer: MEC is calculated on the basis of 15 days’ period of a month in Summer, Odd and Even Semester according to the following table:
