General Rules and Regulations
- Pool timings and slots allotted to the members and guests must be strictly adhered on all days.
- Members will be allowed to enter the pool only after they have signed the register and handed over the membership cards at the counter.
- At the end of their slot members are required to sign the register again and collect back their membership cards.
- Children in the age group of 3 to 12 years of age must be accompanied in the pool by one of the escorts listed in the application form.
- Proper swimming trunks/costumes must be used during swimming. Ladies and other members having long hair must use bathing caps during swimming.
- Members must have a shower followed by a footbath at the door of the shower room before entering the pool.
- Use of oil before entering the swimming pool is strictly prohibited.
- Use of soap in the swimming pool is strictly prohibited.
- Instructions of the lifeguards on duty will be the final word at the pool.
- Playing, jumping and quarrelling in the swimming pools are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking, drinking and consumption of eatables are strictly forbidden in the swimming pool premises.
- No photography is allowed in the swimming pool premises unless prior permission has been obtained from the SPEC Chair.
- Animals are not permitted in the swimming pool premises.
Noncompliance to any of the above rules will lead to a penalty of Rs 300 and may also result in cancellation of membership.

Specific Rules for the BIG Swimming Pool
- Please be respectful towards fellow swimmers in the pool. DO NOT confront.
- Diving, of any kind, is not allowed in the swimming pool during regular slots.
- In the deep end, lanes 1-5 are reserved for male swimmers while lanes 6-8 are reserved for females, during regular slots.
- In the deep end, you are not allowed to swim along the breadth of the pool.
- In the deep end, changeover of lanes during swimming is not allowed.
- In the deep end, floating on your back is not allowed as it may result in collision with advancing swimmers from the opposite side.
- Crossing over from the deep end to the shallow end without stopping at the rope (separating the two ends) is not allowed.
- In the shallow end, you are only allowed to swim along the breadth of the pool.
- Under-water swimming is not allowed during regular slots.
- Playful activities are not allowed in the pool.
- DO NOT tamper with any equipment in the swimming pool and the dressing room.
