Who can become a Member?
Swimming pool membership is open only to the following categories of persons.
- IIT Kanpur employees/retired employees and their dependent wards.
- Employees of campus organizations (Post Office, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Police Outpost, etc.) officially allowed to stay on campus and their dependent wards.
- Bonafide students of the Institute and their families.
- Alumni and their families.
Anyone other than the above mentioned will be treated as outsider and will not be entitled to become member of swimming pool.
How to become a Member?
Fill up the application form and submit it along with a photograph at the summing pool office between 4:00 P.M. and 7:45 P.M. on all swimming pool working days.
"For verification of authenticity of the applicant, official records like Identity card or health center booklet, etc should be produced at the time of submitting the application form."

Membership Subscription
Membership fee can be deposited through SBI i-Collect by clicking at the following link.

- Select Payment Category - SWIMMING POOL IIT KANPUR
- Fill all relevant columns.
- Select user category - IITK student/IITK employee/children and or spouse of IITK employee/student
- fill other required details
- Once payment is done successfully, mention the transaction details in the application form at the designated space and submit the form at swimming pool office.

* Limited passes will be issued after verification of supportive documents
** Coaching Camp Charges will be additional and have to be borne by the members. The charges willbe decided by SPEC and intimated accordingly
