Dr. Venkat Krishnamurthy

Dr. Venkat Krishnamurthy is the President and Co-founder of Alignable, where his visionary leadership has been instrumental in creating the largest network of business owners in North America.

Profile

Mr. Venkat completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1992 and was a President Gold Medalist. Then he moved to San Francisco for further studies where he completed his PhD in computer sciences from 1992-1997.

Dr. Venkat's remarkable career spans several influential roles. While still at Stanford, he co-founded invisAlign. He then distinguished himself as the visionary Founder and CTO of Paraform Inc. from 1998 to 2002, followed by a pivotal tenure as VP of Engineering at Metris NV from 2002 to 2004 that led to their acquisition by Nikon. Subsequently, he assumed the role of CTO at OAT Systems Inc. Dr. Venkat was an instructor and research affiliate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a focus on driving Radical Innovation within larger enterprises. His philanthropic spirit took shape in January 2003 when he established GK Trust with his father and sister, and subsequently GK Vidyalaya in Tirunelveli (Sankarnagar), TN, a school for underprivileged children, demonstrating his commitment to providing quality education to underserved communities.

Dr. Venkat Krishnamurthy is currently a board member of Grand Circle Corporation since January 2012. He is a board member at Cementos Pacasmayo where he advises the company on their digital innovation strategy.
