Mr. Cherian Matthew (BT/CSE/2008) is a Founder at Firebolt Ventures, a Silicon Valley based venture capital that has backed over 60 companies started by IIT alumni in the US. After completing his B.Tech from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering IIT Kanpur in 2008, he worked at Microsoft and subsequently completed his MS from Stanford University in 2012 before starting his venture capital career. Mr. Cherian Mathew (BT/CSE/2008) instituted Cherian and Vigny Mathew Faculty Fellowship for AI which is dedicated to a faculty with research interest in artificial intelligence and to acknowledge young and enthusiastic faculty under 40 years.
