Participation in volleyball provides athletes with a special opportunity
to enhance physical health while learning the value of teamwork,
composure, and perseverance.
But it’s the fun factor which makes volleyball the most popular sport in the campus here at IITK.
Consequently The facilities available are at par with the best in the World.
Apart from two full size insti courts, the presence of courts in the halls make sure that the volleyball
crazy junta gets to play whenever they feel like doing so!!
An indoor volleyball court is on the cards.
There is a regular practice session in the evening under the expertise of a coach
which is attended by the 12 first year players
chosen for C.P.A. (compulsory physical activities) along with the players who have represented the institute in the
inter IIT sports meet.
