Tanuj Gupta’s Ph.D. thesis focuses on the development and analysis of interlaced mechanical metastructures. His recent research has analysed the dynamic behaviour of these metastructures, including the effects of fractals and fractal order and he is also working on designing and actively controlling metastructure properties using shape memory alloys, as well as developing multi-material metastructures for vibration damping in rotor systems.
