Tiecon-Delhi

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently 11,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 60 chapters across 17 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. The foremost and most widely known event that TiE hosts is TiEcon, which is the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs.

Delhi Chapter is among the largest and most vibrant across the vast TiE network. In the last 12 years, it has emerged as the forum of choice for startups, serial entrepreneurs, VC and angel investors, policy makers and academia. At the heart of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, TiE Delhi plays the role of an ecosystem builder by bringing in multiple  stakeholdes and values to align with the common goal to foster entrepreneurship.

TiECON was a two day mega event focussing on bringing out disruptive business models, translating thoughts into action, and celebrating success and failure at each step of entrepreneurship.
Several teams of IIT Kanpur participated in TiECON Delhi. SBERTC in coordination with NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) looked after all the logistical details and sorted queries regarding the registration of students including team members for the same.
