On 18th July, the Department was delighted to host a Conference on Statistical Theory and Applications in honour of Prof. Debasis Kundu who superannuated last month. It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate Prof. Kundu’s remarkable contributions to statistical theory and applications, and the lasting impact he has had on his students, collaborators, and the broader statistical community.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us in making this a memorable celebration, and wish Prof. Kundu all the very best for this next chapter!
