There is near unanimity of opinion that the traffic on IIT Campus is growing by the day and is now causing serious concern to the residents. With the phenomenal growth of traffic, the incidents are also increasing albeit disproportionately. It has therefore become necessary to critically examine the issue in the light of our experiences and look for possible solutions.

Those who have been living on the Campus for decades are certainly more competent to offer their views on the subject and my opinion may sound like an exercise in naiveté. But, like any other conscious resident, I have been actively debating the issue with my colleagues and friends and I thought it to the appropriate to share my views with the residents.
