In this Erasmus Mundus cooperation, Lund University is primarily represented by the Faculty of Engineering, which is internationally known for its systematic development and assessment of teaching and learning quality.

Founded in 1666, Lund University (LU) is today one of the largest, oldest and broadest universities in Scandinavia and is consistently ranked among the world's top 100 universities, with 30 world-leading research environments.

Around 47 000 students study at LU, which has 6 300 employees. LU is in many respects Sweden’s most international higher education institution and has close cooperation and exchange agreements with a large number of universities around the world. In addition, LU is a member of research-intensive university networks such as Universitas 21 and the League of European Research Universities (LERU).

Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Windows Lots 15 /13 India

The consortium organizing two EU funded programmes for academic mobility and exchange between the EU and India 2008-2013, are contributing to the workshop in a facilitating role. Lund University is the lead university, and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur a partner university in the consortium which is a collaboration of 12 European and 8 Indian universities.
