The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences has a provision for 31 faculty members, 10 supporting staff and 65 PhD students. The department also has provisions for visiting faculty, adjunct faculty and associate faculty. Faculty members, widely known in their fields, are actively engaged in research and teaching at the graduate and postgraduate levels. Some also provide consultancy and work in close cooperation with both governmental and non-governmental agencies. Currently, there are 48 students in the Department. Our alumni are in leading institutions across the country and continue to excel in their field of work.
