Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur invites you to take part in our annual Boeing National Aeromodelling Festival 2022. The event provides a one of a kind opportunity to students from all fields of engineering to work on real life challenges, develop new ideas, manage a full scale engineering project and manufacture it as per their design. Boeing National Aeromodelling Festival comprises workshop and zonal competition among all 4 zones of India. The "Boeing Aeromodelling Workshop" for the North Zone will be organized by IIT Kanpur. Students from all over India are allowed to attend these workshop.
What to expect from these workshops:
The focus of the workshop would be to introduce you to this event and the exciting field of aeromodelling and system engineering. The workshop would offer introductory lectures from Professors, hands-on experience of building an aircraft model and flying them. Description about the workshop of IITK is as follows :-
- These workshop would introduce you to the event, its structure, the learning experience that one should expect to get and details about participating in the event. Since the event would be conducted in an online mode, students must have a clear idea about the structure and overall scope of the event.
- The purpose of the workshop is to give an exposure of aeromodelling to students from various streams & backgrounds. No prior experience is required for the workshop. It would introduce you to the details of the problem statement for the competition. It would also contain a detailed presentation about the design of a RC Glider. The workshop would be very crucial for students who want to explore and learn about designing and modelling of modern aircrafts. Significant learning experience shall be expected from the workshop.
These workshops would provide you with a networking session with aeromodelling enthusiasts across the country. We hope to see all aero enthusiasts students in large numbers !
