The Asian Symposium on Information Display ( ASID ), originated from the joint Japan-Korea information display conference, has become one of the major regional information display conferences organized by the SID.

The purpose of the symposium is to provide a friendly and stimulating environment for display researchers, especially in Asia region, to present their work and exchange information.

The India Chapter of the Society for Information Display is organizing this technical symposium on all aspects of display science and technology. Earlier symposia in the series were:
