Women's Cell IITK announces the 3rd edition of the IITK community event

5 Km Run and 5 Km Walk with theme "Don't be a Bystander; Stand Against Sexual Harassment"!

The schedule of the event is as follows:

Date: Sunday, 1st March 2020
Reporting Time for participants: 6.15am
Starting Time: 6.30 am
Starting Point: Main Ground, Near GH1
Ending Point: OAT

  • All registered participants who have not yet collected their BIB numbers, please do so today (29th February) between 7-9pm, from the PE section (near basket ball court, main ground). This would prevent rush on Sunday, and enable us to start the event on time.

  • You can also register on site and collect your BIB number at the PE section during the above time.

Limited option for on-the-spot registration will also be available at 6 am on Sunday, but will have to close at 6.15. In order to avoid rush before the event, we *strongly recommend* advance registration and collection of BIB numbers at the PE section on Saturday.

The routes for both the events are the same and available at the following link:
https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/gp/bookmark/view/id/7444080

The end of the event will be marked by a program at OAT where prizes and certificates will be distributed to the winners of the events.
The spirit of the theme will be celebrated through recognition of some select individuals who have set an example in the campus by "Not Being a Bystander".
