| The Indian Society of Rheology organizes the soft matter young investigator's meet (SMYIM) annually, since its inception in 2014. The meetings aim to bring together young soft matter scientists and engineers to present their research, discuss emerging research directions in the field and encourage new collaborations. It provides a platform to connect a rapidly growing interdisciplinary group working on colloidal/polymer/granular/active living matter-dynamics, self assembly of mesoscopic structures and the interface of soft matter, chemistry and biology, to enhance the quality of soft matter science through fruitful discussions by bringing scientist together. Our previous meetings were held at various locations including Pondicherry (2014, 2014 and 2015), Goa (2016), Shimla (2018), Shillong (2019), virtual (2020 and 2021) and Mysuru (2022), and were a success. |

We were compelled to host virtual SMYIM in 2020 and 2021 due to the covid-19 outbreak. After a successful in-person meeting in Mysuru last year, we are excited to host the 10th anniversary meeting this year. Here is a list of previous events we have conducted.
