INK

The INK community is made of individuals with an open mind to new world views and cultures, the young and young at heart who believe in the ability to design a better future by capitalizing on the collective energy of human brilliance, and those who want to contribute to positive change. INK is building a global community that turns “Ideas into Reality”. On INK Talks, innovative / inspirational ideas that contribute to solving the major problems of emerging economies are showcased which are then nurtured / incubated by INK itself and then fueled into effective projects / projects at hand. INK seeks to innovate the attitude of a society that measures success purely on economic factors into an attitude that celebrates a broader definition of success, the type of success that is not measured in dollars or rupees but in the amount of impact it has on society. Thus, INK provides both a platform for a global dialogue to take place and a springboard to launch ideas into creative action. The various initiatives taken up by INK are following:

• INK Salon

INK salon is an effort to stimulate new conversations in college campuses and institutes. It is designed to provide the student community with a platform to showcase innovation both at local and global level. As part of its vision, INK partners with colleges to organize ‘INK on Campus’, a small event, usually of around 90 minutes to inspire all the young minds. The intent is to engage with thought leaders and bring inspirational stories to young audiences.

• INK Stream

INK stream is a special web-stream event of INK that is organized by the INK Team. It incorporates a similar ambience of INK, workshops by INK fellows and interactive session of attendees with INK Speakers.

• INK Lab

INK is giving youth the opportunity to be a part of them by setting up INK labs (equivalent to a club) in their college / university and engaging in all their activities . Students who become engaged in INK labs during their academic career develop profound leadership, problem solving, social and communication skills which can be directly applied to their career. INK 0labs is an avenue for students to become engaged in their personal, professional, academic and social success during their college career.

INK will give the labs the opportunity to participate in projects. These projects are specifically designed for the labs and individual contribution towards the projects will give an opportunity to learn more and be a part of something big. Projects will be based on the on-going works of our current and future INK fellows / speakers or from international organizations. Projects will be in areas such as education, governance, energy, health, infrastructure, photography, etc.

Example project- INK has partnered with MIT Media labs and this program will be launched under INK labs. MIT Media Labs will bring interesting projects and engage with the INK labs community.
