XX  SERC  MAIN  SCHOOL
THEORETICAL  HIGH  ENERGY   PHYSICS
December 4-24, 2004

Applications are invited for the XXth SERC Main School in Theoretical High Energy Physics, to be held at I.I.T. Kanpur, between December 4-24, 2004.
  • The School will consist of 4  modules, each of 9 lectures and 9 tutorial sessions. 
  • Duration of each session is 90 minutes.
  • The lectures in each module will be delivered by an expert Lecturer. 
  • Tutorials will be conducted by a Guest Faculty, usually (but not necessarily) in the presence of the Lecturer
  • The lectures will assume a basic knowledge of quantum field theory, particle physics and the general theory of relativity. 
  • Selected participants will be provided travel to and from their home institution to I.I.T. Kanpur and back.
  • The School will also provide local hospitality in the form of board and lodging on the I.I.T. campus.
  • Every participant is required to stay for the entire durationof the School.
