Applications are invited for a temporary and contractual post of Senior Project Engineer under the project entitled: “Setting up of fabrication and centralized facilities for quantum sensing & metrology under the National Quantum Mission” at IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification:

PhD (Engineering Stream)

Or

MTech + 3 years relevant experience

Or

BTech/BE with MBA + 3 years of relevant experience

Or

BTech/BE + 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Qualifications and Expertise:

The candidate should have one or more of the following:

  • At least 15 years of experience in utility management, particularly heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Experience with cleanroom operations.
  • Operation and maintenance of nitrogen plant, DI water plant, air compressors, vacuum systems, AHUs, UPS, BMS system, fire and safety system, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, commission, maintenance, and repair of cleanroom equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols for cleanroom environment.
  • Experience collaborating with research teams for upkeep of cleanroom environment and equipment.

Salary Range:

Rs. 38,800 – 3200 – 96400 /- per month (based on qualification and experience)

Term of Appointment:

The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, for three years, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
