Prof. Aditya K. Jagannatham
is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at IIT Kanpur, where he holds the Arun Kumar Chair Professorship. He received his Bachelors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, San Diego, U.S.A. From April '07 to May '09 he was employed as a senior wireless systems engineer at Qualcomm, San Diego, California, where he was a part of the Qualcomm CDMA technologies (QCT) division. His research interests are in the area of next generation wireless networks, with a special emphasis on various 5G technologies such as massive MIMO, mmWave MIMO, FBMC, NOMA and 6G technologies such as OTFS, IRS, THz and VLC. | ||||||||
Dr. Raj Kumar
Dr. Raj Kumar
received the B.E. degree from the University of Madras, the
M.Sc.(Eng.) degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and the
Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University
of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles (specializing in coding and
information theory). He was subsequently a post-doctoral researcher at the
Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) for a couple of years, and
has been with Qualcomm's Wireless R&D group in Bangalore since 2011. At
Qualcomm, he has worked on a wide variety of projects spanning algorithm
design, standardization and commercialization of 3G/4G cellular systems,
WiFi, WiGig (60GHz mmWave) and low earth orbit satellite communication
systems. Dr. Suraj Srivastava
received the M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2022. He was previously employed as a Staff-I systems design engineer with Broadcom Research India, and as a lead engineer with Samsung Research India. He also worked as a senior lead engineer in Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, from October 2022 to November 2023. His research interests include applications of Sparse Signal Processing in 5G Wireless Systems, mmWave and Tera-Hertz Communication, Optimization and Machine Learning. He was awarded Qualcomm Innovation Fellowships (QIF) in years 2018 and 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.
Dr. Prem Singh
is co-founder and Director of Mantiswave Networks Pvt. Ltd., a start-up in the 5G wireless communication domain and a faculty member at IIIT Bangalore. Previously, he worked as Project Executive Officer on the Indigenous 5G Testbed project, where he designed FPGA based hardware, and software algorithms for an end-to-end 3GPP compliant 5G-NR Testbed. He received the M. Tech and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. His PhD thesis received the Best Thesis award in IEEE CICT 2020 organized by IIIT Kancheepuram, India, and he was also one of the finalists (top two) for the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Innovative Student Project Award 2021. His current research interests lie in the areas of embedded system design for 5G and beyond wireless systems including FPGA based hardware design, 3GPP compliant firmware design, Private 5G and Testbed setup. His student’s paper was one of the finalists for the best student paper award at the IEEE SPCOM 2022 held at IISc Bangalore. |
