Department of Industrial & Management Engineering (IME), IIT Kanpur is proud to invite you to the Doctoral Colloquium 2018 scheduled for April 7 and 8, 2018. Doctoral Colloquium aims to bring together bright research minds to share thoughts, exchange ideas, showcase research findings, and network with the peer scholars, industry experts, and faculty members.

About the Institute

About the Department

Set up in 1974 as an interdisciplinary program, the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at IIT Kanpur is one of the first in the country to leverage the analytical education in the training of management professionals. The area of expertise of IME faculty members include: quantitative and statistical decision modelling, operations and supply chain management, manufacturing systems, finance, marketing, economics, analytics, management information systems, game theory, innovation, intellectual property management, and knowledge management.

Submission

Eligibility

Currently enrolled doctoral candidates from recognized institutes and universities (full time or part time) are eligible to apply.

Submission Guidelines

Extended abstract (maximum 500 words including title, name of the authors, and their affiliations) may be submitted through the EasyChair portal by clicking here.
Doctoral candidates working in (or related to) the field of management research may submit extended abstract of their original and unpublished doctoral research work. Possible areas of submission to IME DC 2018 (but not to be limited to) are as follows:

* Registration fee has to be paid only after the acceptance of the submitted extended abstract.

** Single room accommodation to the PhD students will be provided in the Students' Halls of Residence.

Candidates whose submissions are not accepted and want to attend IME DC 2018, may contact the organizing committee. Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis against the limited capacity. The registration fee remains the same as above.
