Equipped with technologically advanced latest machinery and equipments, imported from Italy and Germany and a few other countries, the Common Facility Center is extending services to the industry in two ways. One, this center is providing mechanization-related exposure to those small units that cannot afford to get the relevant information in the open market. In the second place, we are providing job work facilities to those units that don’t have their own set-up. It’s a matter of great satisfaction that some units that have been availing themselves of this facility from our center have got into the export market in a big way and have now become financially so sound that they have established their own machinery. This way, we are assisting in not only expanding the industrial activity but also in the generation of the additional employment opportunities, that will ultimately benefit the target group, that is, the minorities and the weakest strata of society.
